गत हप्ता काठमाडौंको टिंकुने क्षेत्रमा राजतन्त्र पुनर्स्थापना र हिन्दु राज्यको माग गर्दै प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले सुरक्षाकर्मीसँग झडप गरेका थिए। प्रहरीले अश्रुग्यास र पानीको फोहोरा प्रयोग गरेपछि स्थिति नियन्त्रणबाहिर गएको थियो। दुई प्रदर्शनकारीको मृत्यु भएको र एक पत्रकारको भवन जलाइएर हत्या भएको समाचार छ (स्रोत: रॉयटर्स)। यस घटनापछि सरकारले कर्फ्यू लगाएको छ र सयौं प्रदर्शनकारीलाई पक्राउ गरेको छ।

वर्तमान स्थिति

मार्च ३१ मा प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले सुरक्षा स्थिति छलफल गर्न मन्त्रिपरिषद् बैठक बोलाउनुभएको छ। पूर्वराजा ज्ञानेन्द्र शाहको समर्थनमा प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले “राजा आउ, देश बचाऊ” भन्दै नारा लगाइरहेका छन्। राजनीतिक विश्लेषकहरूका अनुसार, भ्रष्टाचार र आर्थिक सङ्कटले जनतामा असन्तुष्टि बढाएको छ, जसले राजतन्त्रको मागलाई बल पुर्‍याएको छ। आज, अप्रिल २ मा, संसदमा यो विषयमा बहस जारी रहन सक्छ।

नेपालमा प्रभाव

यो आन्दोलनले देशको राजनीतिक स्थिरतामा प्रश्न उठाएको छ। काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा सुरक्षा बलको उपस्थिति बढेको छ, र जनजीवन प्रभावित भएको छ। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रमा पनि समर्थन देखिएको छ, जसले यो आन्दोलन राष्ट्रिय रूपमा फैलिन सक्ने संकेत दिएको छ। नेपालवाइब२४ ले जनताको आवाज सुन्न र तथ्य प्रस्तुत गर्न प्रतिबद्ध छ।

निष्कर्ष
